Dict Client for PC and Macintosh:
Dict Client uses the internet standard "dict" protocol to communicate with online dictionaries. It comes setup to search "dict.org" allowing you to look up words in the following free on-line dictionaries:
- "Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary (1913)"
- "WordNet (r) 1.6"
- "U.S. Gazetteer (1990)"
- "Jargon File (4.0.0/24 July 1996)"
- "The Free On-line Dictionary of Computing (15Feb98)"
- "The Elements (22Oct97)"
- "Easton's 1897 Bible Dictionary"
- "Hitchcock's Bible Names Dictionary (late 1800's)"
NOTE: Although the default server is dict.org, you can change the server to whatever you want (if you have another dictionary somewhere).

The current version is 2.0 and runs on Mac OS X only.
